4th International Conference on Focused Practices
The 4th International Solution Focused Conference, organized by the Association for Solution Focused Practice International (ASFPI) in collaboration with Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE, Dubai), is set to take place at the MAHE Dubai Campus on the 28th and 29th of February 2024. The event encompasses parallel keynotes by experts, multiple workshops and paper presentations.
This year’s conference theme, “Bridging Borders: Global Perspectives on Brief and Solution-Focused Practices,” invites academics, practitioners, and researchers from around the world to explore the transformative power of solution-focused approaches in diverse cultural and geographical contexts. Join us as we delve into the nuanced and universal applications of brief therapies, fostering international collaboration and understanding.

MEPA
The Middle East Psychological Association (MEPA) was established in November, 2010, to unify psychologists and other mental health practitioners in the Middle East. The Middle East Psychological Association has several goals. For one, it aims to unify all of the psychologists and mental health clinicians in the Middle East. The organization also aims to be a resource for the Middle East community and to destigmatize the practice of psychology, which has traditionally been seen as a Western phenomenon. The Middle East Psychological Association will also provide ongoing professional development activities in the form of workshops, trainings, and public information for both consumers of mental health resources and social service professionals.
